The Houston Rockets exhibited impressive performances throughout the 2024-25 NBA season, concluding the regular season in second place in the Western Conference with a commendable record of 52 wins and 30 losses. Nevertheless, their playoff campaign came to a premature halt as they encountered the Golden State Warriors in the initial round and could not progress further. After this elimination, compelling insights regarding Jalen Green surfaced on social media platforms.
According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Houston Rockets maintain their confidence in Jalen Green and have shifted their focus away from pursuing Devin Booker.
“The Rockets have previously held serious interest in the Suns’ Devin Booker, but team sources said that is no longer the case. Not only do team officials still have faith in Jalen Green, who is five years younger than Booker and $66 million cheaper over the next three seasons, but also Booker’s struggles last season shifted the thinking on this front,” Via Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Nevertheless, Amick reported that the organisation has confidence in Green’s abilities and has decided to cease its pursuit of Booker.
