Kevin Durant showcased stellar efforts for the Phoenix Suns during the 2024-25 NBA season. Unfortunately, the team fell short of securing a playoff berth, wrapping up the regular season in 11th place in the Western Conference, finishing with a 36-46 record. Following this disappointing outcome, rumours about a possible trade involving Kevin Durant began to circulate.
The most recent updates regarding Durant have ignited fiery trade speculation. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Suns and Durant’s business associate, Rich Kleiman, who is also the CEO of Boardroom, have engaged in several discussions over the past week as they explore various trade options.
“The two sides are expected to work together on potential destinations. Teams that have expressed interest in Durant, sources said, mainly feature the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks. Several wild-card suitors have made inquiries on Durant in the past seven to 10 days, sources said,” Charania wrote in his recent reports.
