Both Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson have struggled to make a major impact in the series so far. In Game 2, Hart registered just six points, six rebounds, and one assist, while Robinson contributed six points and nine rebounds.
In the opening game, Hart added eight points, and Robinson had only two. Despite neither player producing standout performances, the Knicks appear willing to try this shake-up to see if it can bring a spark in Game 3.

Following the Knicks’ challenging Game 2 loss in the Eastern Conference Finals, NBA legend Kendrick Perkins didn’t hold back his criticism of head coach Tom Thibodeau. Perkins took to social media platform X to voice his disapproval of a critical coaching decision made late in the game regarding Karl-Anthony Towns.
“If or when the Pacers win this series… Thibs decision to bench Towns in the 4th is going to get him fired. I get it he wanted to get some defensive stops but it didn’t work,” Perkins wrote.
