The NBA realm has not gotten over the effects of the Luka Doncic trade. However, even before the ripples died down, there might be yet another blockbuster deal happening. This time, it would be the Phoenix Suns and Kevin Durant. Durant had been one of the biggest stars in the NBA. However, despite his past accolades, the Suns had previously shown significant interest in trading Kevin Durant.
While his superstar status and contractual complications could not make the mid-season deal go through, it looks like time has finally come for Durant to part ways. According to a recent update from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Phoenix Suns and Kevin Durant are through. However, they will be waiting for the current NBA season to end to make their decision official.
Sharing his bold take on the veteran NBA star, Windhorst stated, “They’re going to trade him, and he knows that.”

Surely, this was quite evident as the Suns looked quite active during the trade deadline. They explored the ideas of making a deal with teams like Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors, and more. Meanwhile, despite his recent struggles, Durant recently got significant praise from LeBron James.

LeBron James is often referred to as the NBA GOAT by many. With the debate of who is better among him and Micahel Jordan, James continues to marvel even at 40 years old. Thus, when such a personality calls another athlete the ‘GOAT,’ it surely holds significant weight.
In the Netflix’s documentary, ‘Court Of Gold’, Steve Kerr said, “Kevin’s the greatest men’s Olympic player of all time.”
