The Phoenix Suns’ big three—Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal—put on stellar performances during the 2024-25 NBA season. However, their efforts were insufficient to bring the team the desired success. The Suns finished the regular season in 11th place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 36-46, failing to secure a playoff spot.
In response to this challenging predicament, Suns owner Mat Ishbia has pledged to make significant changes as they chase a championship next season. Moreover, recent revelations from Sam Amick of The Athletic shed light on the dynamics of the Suns’ big three during a recent episode of the Ringer NBA show.
“Unless the Nuggets come calling for Kevin Durant, I’m not seeing exactly where the Kevin Durant landing spot is gonna be at this point, and Bradley Beal and his wife really like living in Phoenix, so I don’t think that’s changing,” Amick said.
Amick reported that the Suns might have no option but to stick with their Durant, Booker, and Beal trio, even with their looming challenges.
