The Phoenix Suns are looking for a complete revamp before the next season begins. They started proceedings by hiring Jordan Ott as their head coach for the next season. Ott was formerly serving as the assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now that is sorted, the Suns have turned their attention toward strengthening their roster. And Bradley Beal might be the one to be axed first.
Suffering a disastrous season, the Suns struggled with their trio of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker. Realizing the importance of shaking things up, the Suns might be ready to look past Bradley Beal. In a recent update from Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Phoneix’s John Gamborodo, it was reported that the Suns are done with Beal.
“They do NOT want him back. But he is untradable and if he does not agree to a buyout they may be stuck with him,” Gamborodo wrote on X.

He also pointed out that the candidates were asked about Beal during the coaching cycle. And all of them stated that they did not want the NBA star continuing with the Suns. And things are so much worse that the Suns are ready to accept anything.

Now, the big question going forward is whether the Suns star will be interested in switching jerseys. With his no-trade clause, Beal was reluctant to leave the franchise this season. And if it is the same this year, too, then the Suns would have to find another way to deal with the situation. Thus, with things looking complicated, it remains to be seen how the situation will pan out.
