Kevin Durant showcased an outstanding performance during the 2024-25 NBA season. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the Suns found themselves in 11th place in the Western Conference standings. They ended the regular season with a 36-46 record and missed the playoffs altogether.
Following this underwhelming campaign, rumours have begun swirling about the possibility of Durant being traded. In light of this, NBA Insider Sam Amico disclosed the Western Conference contender is actively exploring a blockbuster trade to acquire Durant.

Amico mentioned that the Minnesota Timberwolves are rumoured to be actively seeking a powerhouse player and are likely to make a push for Durant.

In a recent episode of Shannon Sharpe’s Nightcap, two-time NBA champion Mario Chalmers suggested that Durant should consider making a comeback to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Durant had an impressive season, averaging 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists over the course of 62 games. The trade rumours surrounding him are sure to be intriguing. It’s definitely one to keep an eye on as it develops.
