The Dallas Mavericks delivered a commanding performance in their Play-In Tournament clash on Wednesday night. The Mavs outlasted the Sacramento Kings 120-106 at the Golden 1 Center. Despite the absence of Kyrie Irving, the Mavericks didn’t miss a beat. Rather, they used a balanced attack, Klay Thompson, and timely defensive stops to take early control and never surrender the lead.
Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson led the charge with standout performances that fueled the Mavericks’ push for a playoff berth. With the win, the Mavericks now move on to face the Memphis Grizzlies in a final Play-In game to determine the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. The winner of that game will earn a first-round showdown against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
