
NBC Sports is adding another familiar face to its NBA coverage. On Tuesday, the network announced that Hall of Famer Grant Hill will join as a game analyst when the NBA returns to NBC and Peacock for the 2025-26 season.
The seven-time NBA All-Star will cover regular-season and playoff games. He played 18 years in the league with the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and the Los Angeles Clippers and earned five All-NBA selections. Moreover, he brings over a decade of broadcasting experience and is famous for his college basketball work with CBS and Turner during the NCAA tournament. NBC confirmed that he would continue his college duties while working on NBA coverage.

With Hill on board, NBC adds even more credibility to a growing team that already features Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony, Jamal Crawford, and Reggie Miller. The network will launch its new NBA Coverage in October and make its return to the league under a new 11-year media deal.

Vince Carter is joining NBC Sports as a studio analyst ahead of the NBA’s return to NBC. The eight-time All-Star will appear weekly during the playoffs and work alongside fellow Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony.

Carter played 22 seasons in the NBA and was celebrated for his high-flying dunks and shooting ability. He was Rookie of the Year, a two-time All-NBA selection, and ranks 10th in all-time three-pointers made. NBC adds him to a team featuring Jamal Crawford, Reggie Miller, and Michael Jordan as a special contributor.
Carter’s experience makes him a valuable addition. As he previously worked with ESPN and Turner, NBC’s return to the NBA became stronger.
