What started with high hopes, the Brooklyn Nets’ season ended in humiliation. They tried to make the most sense with the D’Angelo Russell trade last December, but nothing worked.
Recently, it was another bad day at work for Russell in China. The Nets point guard is on a promotional tour for his sneaker sponsor, Li-Ning.
During his time in the country, the brand organized an event where fans could participate while paying for it. And there were a couple of activities. However, one particular fan made the most out of his dollars spent.
In a viral video, a Chinese fan cooked Russell a couple of times. Russell attempted to drive to the basket but ended up missing an easy layup. This gave the fan an opportunity, and without hesitation, the fan made a quick 3-point shot, igniting cheers from the crowd.

On his next possession, Russell attempted to defend, but the fan made a crazy dribble move, followed by another successful side-step 3-point shot.
Additionally, the fan celebrated his impressive plays while mimicking Russell’s signature “ice in his veins” celebration.

Despite his professional background, many NBA fans took to the internet to troll D-Lo for getting humbled in a casual matchup.

However, after the tweet went viral, reading all those comments, Russell commented on himself in a good mood.
