Social Media Erupts Over Sky-High Ticket Prices As Knicks-Pacers Costs Nearly 4x More Than Timberwolves-Thunder

We saw one of the top performances that led their respective teams to the NBA Conference Finals. But honestly, none of us were ready for the sky-high ticket prices. What’s more surprising is that the Knicks vs Pacers ticket costs almost four times the Timberwolves vs Thunder tickets.

After a hard-fought Game 7 victory against the Nuggets, the Thunder secured their spot against the Timberwolves. Meanwhile, the Knicks and Pacers are set to clash once again, having met in last year’s playoffs, where the Pacers eliminated the Knicks in the semifinals.

Each team holds home-court advantage, with Game 1 tickets for both series now available. The ticket prices, however, reveal a stark contrast. 

According to @TickPick on X, the get-in price for the Thunder vs. Timberwolves is $160, while the Knicks vs. Pacers tickets are selling for an astonishing $703.

Fans have taken to social media to express their shock over these prices.

While NBA fans might be arranging their jerseys to support their home team, ticket prices are giving them nightmares. 

“$170 is parking price in LA,” a fan wrote.

“I speak for everyone when I say nobody watching the thunder series,” another fan commented.

“The price is right. I’d rather see a slugfest between Pacers and Knicks than see SGA bait for fouls all game long vs. Wolves,” another fan wrote.

“MaKe iT mAkE sEnSe,” another comment read.

The Thunder vs. Timberwolves game is scheduled for Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN. And the Knicks vs. Pacers game will take place the following day at 8:00 p.m. EDT on TNT.
