The 2025 NBA free agency officially opened on Monday. Nearly every team made significant moves to strengthen their roster and position themselves for a deeper playoff run. But the Golden State Warriors have remained completely silent.
Despite watching other contenders add firepower, the Warriors have yet to make a single move this offseason. For a team that just came off another disappointing playoff exit, the inactivity has left fans baffled.

Golden State entered last season with high hopes after making bold acquisitions. The Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat. The trade added another star to a lineup already featuring Stephen Curry and sharpshooter Buddy Hield, who had arrived via a complex six-team trade during the previous offseason.
The trio brought new life to the Warriors’ regular-season campaign, showing flashes of brilliance and generating optimism among fans. However, the postseason told a different story. Just as in recent years, Golden State stumbled when it mattered most. Their playoff journey was cut short in the Western Conference semifinals, where they were beaten 4-1 by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
