In the realm of the NBA, there are a number of athletes who have dived into the world of podcasting. Even active athletes like Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green and others are some of the known faces on the internet. However, if given a chance, Green’s teammate at the Warriors, Stephen Curry, will not be interested in hosting a podcast in the future. And the reason is quite surprising.
In a recent interaction, Curry was asked about the possibility of becoming a podcast host. However, he outright rejected it and also explained why he won’t be doing it. Well, the simple answer from Curry was that he was too busy. Curry mentioned that he is already preoccupied with a lot of work. And thus, if somebody delves into a business, the commitment level needs to be one hundred percent. Unfortunately, Curry would fail to devote so much time to his podcast.
“You won’t see me doing it, though. Don’t worry about that. I have a lot of other things I wanna do other than be behind the mic every day. Cause if you’re going to do something, you’ve got to be all in. It is a time commitment, it’s a big lift. It’s not something I’m passionate about,” said Curry.

Surely, Curry is not lying at all. Outside of the NBA court, Curry is associated with a host of other activities. He and his wife, Ayesha, look after his foundation. Next, Curry is also a pro golfer, taking part in several pro-am tournaments. Meanwhile, while he is not becoming a podcaster, coming back to the NBA, Steve Kerr missed Curry’s services dearly as the Warriors crashed out.
Steve Kerr Reflects On Stephen Curry’s Injury

The Golden State Warriors failed to keep up with a resilient display from the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA playoffs. Losing out on an opportunity to advance further in the league, head coach Steve Kerr opined that the loss of Curry mid-series made all the difference. Curry suffered a hamstring injury that knocked him out of the games. Reflecting on the same, Kerr said:

“I know we had a shot. I know we could have gone the distance… Maybe we wouldn’t have, but it doesn’t matter. Again, everything in the playoffs is about who stays healthy and who gets hot.”

Thus, with Stephen Curry looking to come back fresh next year, it remains to be seen how the situation pans out.
