Stephen A Smith has revealed exactly what LeBron James had said to him during their heated confrontation on Thursday night.
The ESPN reporter and the Lakers star are dominating the latest news cycle after LeBron approached Stephen A. and got in his face during last night’s game between L.A. and the New York Knicks.
While different versions of what was said have popped up, everyone can agree that the whole thing was about Bronny James.
Smith addressed the issue during ‘First Take’ on Friday morning but reserved what was actually said to him for his own show, ‘The Stephen A. Smith Show,’ in the evening.
“People said LeBron called me out my name, somebody said he called me a b**ch, somebody said he called me a punk. None of that is true,” he said.
Smith then went on to describe what really happened.

“He was fiery, he approached me during the game, and he said, ‘Stop effin with my son, that’s my effin son, stop effin with my son.’ I saw how furious he was, and I said we could talk about it later, [he said] ‘Nah F that, F that, stop effin with my son, that’s my son.’
“I said ‘aight dawg, fine.’ And he walked away.”
Stephen A Smith Refused To Apologize

While Smith claimed to have understood where James was coming from as a father, he refused to apologize to the Lakers forward, claiming he did nothing wrong.
In this particular instance, the ESPN reporter has plenty of fans on his side, and many agree that Bronny is a professional athlete and can be critiqued like the rest of his contemporaries.
Smith, though, pointed out that he never actually critiqued Bronny but was lambasting LBJ for putting his son in such a position.
