If anything, the Golden State Warriors have done better, and it has to be Jimmy Butler.
After his trade from the Miami Heat, Jimmy is putting his all out on the court, and when it comes to the playoffs, there’s no match for his dedication.
Recently, when head coach Steve Kerr was asked about Butler’s status for the upcoming game, he had a sweet answer.
“If it were the regular season, he’d probably miss another week or two. But it’s the playoffs and he’s Jimmy Butler,” Kerr said.

However, during the Warriors Game 4 showdown against the Rockets, Jimmy made the most out of the occasion.
He scored 27 points with five rebounds and six assists despite the fact that he was questionable before the game with a pelvic and glute contusion.

Although he missed Game 3, he played through pain in Game 4, all that to lead the Warriors’ playoff run.
Jimmy Butler Is Smiling Through Pain

While we’ll still wait to see if Jimmy Butler will make it to the court for the next game against the Rockets, he’s definitely not thinking otherwise.
After taking a tough hit and suffering a pelvic injury in Game 2 against Houston, he gave everybody a major injury scare. He ended up missing Game 3, which only heightened the concern about his condition.
But surprisingly, Butler returned in Game 4 and put on a show and helped the Warriors stay ahead 3-1 in the series.
Despite his impressive performance, there were moments during the game when Butler grabbed his hip, reminding us that he was still dealing with some pain.
During the postgame interview, he acknowledged the discomfort but framed it positively.
“I’m not gonna say that I’m not hurting, but it’s a good pain whenever it’s all towards winning,” Jimmy said. “I feel like they got me here to help do something special, and if I’m out there on the floor. I’m expected to produce and help win, so I’m glad I was able to do that tonight.”

He’s no stranger to pushing through pain. During the 2023 playoffs, Butler dealt with an ankle sprain as well. But still managed to lead the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals. This year, he’s ready to tackle the pelvic injury with the same determination.
Butler, now 35, is wise about how to handle these challenges.
