With each passing game, the tension between the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors is rising. In Game 3 of the playoff series between the two, Steve Kerr’s men got the better of the Rockets via a 104-93 victory. However, the physical play did not take a backseat. In fact, it became even more prominent. While both teams put their bodies to full effect, there were some notable missed foul calls from the officials. Steve Kerr was not satisfied by any of them.
Now, Kerr did not talk directly about the quality of the officiating in this particular series. But he sure did clap back at them indirectly.
“Teams basically just say to their guys, ‘Just foul every time, they can’t call it every time.’ The playoffs become to me much more an art for the officials than a science,” said Kerr.

Surely, Kerr’s frustrations were understandable. There were a total of 38 combined fouls between the two teams. However, the most notable came when Stephen Curry attempted a three-pointer in the first quarter. Dillon Brooks came charging in to put Curry on the floor. Surprisingly, the officials did not call it a foul, even though it was pretty harsh enough to be a shooting foul. However, this was not Steve Kerr’s complaint during this playoff series.
Steve Kerr Did Not Like Fans Hurling F-Bomb Towards Draymond Green

As mentioned earlier, the Houston vs. Warriors series has been a heated affair right from the word go. In Game 2, it was the Rockets who came back to level the series 1-1. As the game was being played in Houston, the fans were overwhelmed with joy. However, as Draymond Green put up a physical show, fans could not contain their emotions and started to hurl F-bombs towards Green. Looking at such a reaction, Steve Kerr did not enjoy it much.

“It’s not ideal when a crowd is chanting ‘F you Draymond’ … I would prefer if fans could use a little more discretion and remember that the guy has kids,” Kerr said. “Maybe I’m old school. I’m all for the fans cheering for their team and if they want to yell at the opponents, great, but I just think ‘F you’ is – it’s a little much.”
Steve Kerr feels that opposing fans are “stepping way over the line” on the ‘F*ck you Brunson’ and ‘F*ck you Draymond’ chants 😳

“You can say a lot of things but I find it disturbing when there’s 20,000 fans yelling F-U to a player.”

Thus, it is evident that the tempers will fly once again as the two teams face off in Game 4. Now, it remains to be seen how things pan out in the upcoming days.
