New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby delivered a standout performance throughout the 2024-25 NBA championship season. After the Knicks secured victories over the Detroit Pistons in the opening round of the playoffs and the Boston Celtics in the conference semifinals, their journey ended against the Indiana Pacers in the conference finals.
While Anunoby did not capture the championship title this year, he may have experienced notable developments off the court. Speculation regarding a romantic connection between Anunoby and Sunisa Lee emerged following Lee’s attendance at a Knicks game, where she posed for photos with him. Recently, these rumours took a wild turn when Lee wittily addressed a Knicks fan’s mention of the dating gossip during her appearance at the annual Fanatics Fest in New York City.

The New York Knicks delivered a commendable performance during the regular season; however, they were unable to secure the championship, succumbing to the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs. Following this setback, the Knicks are reportedly evaluating substantial roster modifications through major trades. James Edwards III from The Athletic recently provided analysis regarding the Knicks’ strategies for the upcoming offseason.
“Bridges is asked to do a lot defensively, doesn’t miss games and moves the needle on offense as a third option. So, I don’t think it’s impossible for him to get traded if the two sides are off on extension talks… As for Anunoby, he might be the player rival teams want most if the Knicks attempt to make a big trade,” Edwards wrote.
Anunoby averaged 18.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists over the course of 74 games this season.
