Kevin Durant has long been done with the Phoenix Suns. With swirling trade rumors dating back to the February trade window, a change in jerseys for Durant was evident. In the mid-season, Durant was heavily rumored to join the Golden State Warriors. However, that deal did not go through. But now, as the offseason approaches, news about probable Kevin Durant destinations are gaining traction. And one such update has taken the internet by storm.
Sam Quinn from CBS Sports has recently proposed a wild Kevin Durant possibility. And it involves the Suns and the Minnesota Timberwolves, and four teams in total! It is already known that the Wolves and the Suns are in talks to acquire Durant. Quinn’s theory proposes a somewhat smooth path for Durant’s transition to take place.
According to the theory, here’s what all 4 teams get:
Phoenix Suns get: Julius Randle, Mike Conley, Goga Bitadze, Terrence Shannon Jr., No. 25 pick. Orlando Magic get: Donte DiVincenzo. Minnesota Timberwolves get: Kevin Durant. Brooklyn Nets get: Gary Harris, No. 46 pick.

Now, if the KD deal does happen, the Timberwolves will surely fancy a chance of winning the title. For the past two seasons, the Wolves have been to the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately, they lost on both occasions. With Durant, however, the Wolves will have that extra kick to propel them into the NBA finals. Meanwhile, with Durant’s chances of joining the Warriors advancing a lot, Draymond Green had a hilarious delusional moment involving Luka Doncic.

Back in February, Draymond Green talked with the Warriors’ owner, Joe Lacob. The duo discussed the possibility of acquiring Kevin Durant, which Lacob asked Green to keep a secret. Now, with the Luka Doncic trade breaking the internet, Stephen Curry excitedly broke the news to Green. Having no idea of what just happened, Green mistook it for a Kevin Durant trade successfully done!
“So, we’re at this tournament and I go sit down,” Green said. “And about 15 minutes later, Steph [Curry] yells, ‘Draymond, you see the trade?’ I go, ‘It happened?’ Steph goes, ‘Wait, who?’ I said, ‘Oh, never mind, nobody. What happened?’ He’s like, ‘Luka got traded.’ I couldn’t [believe it].”
Thus, with the Kevin Durant situation getting interesting each day, it remains to be seen what happens next.
