If anybody knows how to irk the New York Knicks fans the best, it has to be Trae Young.
While probably sitting on a couch or a poolside during his vacation in Cancun, the Atlanta Hawks superstar still owns the Knicks.
Recently, Young directed his scathing tweet at the New York fan base. It was too good to be missed.
“Hot take but not.. OKC fans are louder than Knick fans. Happy Sunday!” Young wrote.

OKC fans are louder than Knick fans.
Happy Sunday!
While the Thunder were building a significant lead, Young couldn’t resist the opportunity to provoke Knicks fans, who were known for their passionate support.
Though it was not the first time the star guard poked fun at the Knicks.

In December last year, he taunted the Knicks with a mid-court dice roll after knocking them out of the NBA Cup.
Despite Young’s playful trolling, the Knicks had the upper hand this time, and they progressed to the Eastern Conference finals against the Indiana Pacers. Young’s Hawks, finishing the season at 40-42, were eliminated early in the play-in tournament.
Trae Young’s Future Remains Uncertain At Hawks Camp

After being eliminated in the play-in tournament, the Atlanta Hawks did not qualify for the playoffs this season. Despite this, Trae Young remains engaged in his well-known rivalry with New York Knicks fans.
This rivalry dates back to their playoff series in 2021 and has persisted during the two teams’ meetings.
Despite all this, Young’s future with the Hawks is uncertain. The Hawks have not progressed well since their own conference finals run in 2021.

And rumors hint at potential changes in the team structure. Young’s skills as a talented scorer and playmaker make him an intriguing prospect for other teams should the Hawks decide to move on from him.
But things won’t be that easy going forward.
