Things turned pretty ugly during the Wisconsin high school basketball playoff game. Myles Herro, the younger brother of NBA star Tyler Herro, recently got into a post-game brawl with his opponent at the handshake line.
Myles was playing for Whitehall, which lost to Waterford, 56-49, in a sectional semifinal. The incident occurred when Myles approached Waterford player Caden Gustafson in the handshake line. For reasons that remain unclear, Myles shoved Gustafson and engaged in a verbal confrontation.

Gustafson was nowhere near prepared for the altercation as he was left baffled and opened his arms in disbelief. Though his teammates also rose to the occasion and passed down some shoves to Tyler Herro’s brother.
However, things escalated quickly and led to chaos as players and coaches from both teams reacted. The situation was de-escalated right away after coaching staff and security tapped in.

Tyler Herro’s Brother Myles Has Standout Numbers

Despite the turmoil on the court, Myles had a notable performance throughout the season. He is a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports and recorded his 1,000th career point during the game against Waterford.
Averaging 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on 49 percent shooting from the field, Myles is making a name for himself just like his elder brother. Additionally, he has garnered scholarship offers from schools such as Western Illinois and Cal-Poly, showing promise for a potential collegiate career.
However, this incident overshadowed his achievements and put him in a negative spotlight.

In contrast, his older brother, Tyler Herro, has enjoyed a successful career in the NBA with the Miami Heat, where he has established himself as a key player.
He’s averaging 19.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field. Tyler has made significant contributions to the team and has been recognized as a one-time All-Star and the Sixth Man of the Year for the 2021-22 season.
Their middle brother, Austin Herro, recently finished his freshman season at South Carolina, adding to the family’s sports legacy. While Tyler’s achievements continue to inspire, Myles still needs to learn a thing or two.
