Most analysts and experts seem to be favoring the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, shedding light on the same, Tyrese Haliburton had a savage reply to the predictions.
Haliburton recently appeared in a presser and spoke highly of his team. He pointed out how the Indiana Pacers had been proving the experts wrong throughout the season. While not many of them expected the Pacers to be in the finals, here they were, just four wins away from clinching their maiden NBA title. And according to Haliburton, they are once again ready to do the same.
“As long as the guys in our locker room and the people in this building believe, then you know, anything is possible. We’re really excited about the challenge. No quote, unquote expert or analyst is going to pick us, and that’s okay. We like it better that way,” Haliburton stated.

Looking back at their playoff run, both teams had contrasting results. While the Pacers had to toil till Game 6 to make it to the finals. However, the Thunder made it 4-1 and wrapped things up in just five games. Meanwhile, left impressed with Haliburton’s antics, Paul George recently hailed him as the next big star of the NBA.
