Tyrese Haliburton had one of the most memorable times with LeBron James during the Paris Olympics.
The team was legendary in every sense. However, sometime after Team USA’s glorious time, Haliburton is spilling crazy stories.
During his recent visit to Kevin Hart’s YouTube Show, Cold as Balls, Tyrese laughed about the generational gap on Team USA’s basketball roster.
As one of the younger players in the mix, Tyrese couldn’t help but poke fun at the veterans, especially LeBron James, affectionately calling him “Unc.”
He recounted a funny moment from the training room: LeBron was lounging back, watching ‘The Sopranos’ on his iPad with the volume cranked up—and that too, without his headphones on.
“We were calling Bron and KD like, you know, they’re ‘Unc’. Bron will do some old s***, he’ll do some old s*** now. Like we’re sitting in the training room, he’ll have his iPad on his chest watching The Sopranos. No headphones. Full volume. And I walk in the training room. Nobody’s saying anything to him. So I tap him like ‘You’re literally the Beats guy. Why don’t you got no headphones on? How many times you see it?’ ‘Ah, it’s like my fourth time.’ ‘So why are you laughing so hard?’” Haliburton said.

Though the segment was hilarious, Haliburton should be a little aware while passing comments on LeBron, as some fans suggested. That man keeps his eyes on social media, too.
