The Dillon Brooks-led Houston Rockets are going at everybody lately, and Amen Thompson seemed to catch just that.
During the Warriors’ Game 5 defeat against the Rockets, Thompson went all in against Gary Payton II.
While he was making a layup attempt to put it down the rim, Payton II tried giving his hands to put it away; however, despite the attempt, the ball went in.
Enraged with his excitement, Thompson cursed Gary and charged towards him.
“H*e a** ni**a,” cameras caught him saying to Payton II.
Amen Thompson for no reason at all:

He scored 25 points, grabbed six rebounds, and made an incredible five steals, helping the Rockets secure a 131-116 win that kept their playoff hopes alive. His showing was historic, too.
He became the first Rockets player in 25 years to score at least 10 points with five steals in a half. The first since Charles Barkley in 1993 to record 25 points, five steals, and three blocks in a playoff game.
What really stood out was Amen’s tenacity on defense. He set the tone right from the start, racking up five steals in the first half alone.
