The way Edwards handled the psychological pressure of the moment reminded fans of the legendary mental toughness displayed by icons like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan on the court. Edwards attributed much of his success to his dedication to film study.
In the end, Edwards capped off the night with 43 points. His performance was especially clutch in the fourth quarter, scoring 16 of the Timberwolves’ 32 points. Along with scoring, Edwards contributed nine rebounds and six assists and shot 12-of-23 from the field and 5-of-10 from beyond the arc.
