Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is foul-baiting, and he’s not even hiding now. And Anthony Edwards is literally done with these tactics.
During the first half of Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, Edwards couldn’t hide his frustration with Shai. Mostly, the Thunder star is often criticized as a “free-throw merchant” for his tricks to draw fouls.

Gilgeous-Alexander was granted seven free-throw attempts in the first quarter after drawing contacts, which intensified Edwards’ feelings toward him. An incident occurred when Edwards threw the ball toward Gilgeous-Alexander’s groin, resulting in a technical foul against Edwards.
However, this was not the first time ‘The Ant Man’ showed his discontent. During another play, he stood over Gilgeous-Alexander after a foul, leading to another personal foul against him.

After the game, Edwards did not shy away from candidly addressing his performance and expressing his frustration over his shot count.
“I definitely gotta shoot more. I only took 13 f**king shots,” the All-Star guard said after the game.
Edwards finished the contest with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and one block, shooting 5-for-13 from the field and 3-for-8 from beyond the arc. However, his performance in the 4th quarter was particularly disappointing.
He recorded zero points, missed his only field goal attempt, and committed two turnovers in just six minutes of play.
The Timberwolves are now in a familiar position, having reached the Western Conference finals for the second consecutive season.
With Game 2 looming on Thursday night in Oklahoma City, Julius Randle, who led the team with 28 points in Game 1, will need to step up. And Edwards must take his own advice and increase his shot volume if the Timberwolves hope to find success against the Thunder.
