And while he very much wanted to showcase his skills for his new team, injuries kept him out. However, now that he is back, he seems to be back with a mission. Getting over the Sacramento Kings in an emphatic manner, Davis was seen giving a piece of his mind to the Kings’ fans.
Squaring off against the Kings in the play-ins, the Mavericks won comfortably with a score of 120-106. As this victory was much needed for the Mavs to stay afloat, Davis sent a stern message.

Surely, Davis had one of the best performances of this NBA season. He dropped 27 points to secure his team’s victory. Meanwhile, even after the trade, not much seems to have changed between Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
