The New York Knicks suffered a 97-94 defeat against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night. However, it was an especially tough night for Josh Hart, who struggled offensively throughout the night.
Despite his rough outing, Hart’s heated exchange with head coach Tom Thibodeau became the biggest talking point of the game. Late in the fourth quarter, with the Knicks trailing 84-75, tensions flared between the two when head coach Steve Kerr called a timeout.
The moment was intense as Thibodeau was seen angrily shouting at Hart. Hart also didn’t back down and fired back at his coach.

The exact reason behind the outburst remained unclear, but the confrontation quickly drew attention. During the live broadcast, analyst Richard Jefferson dismissed the incident as anything unusual.
“That is 100 percent normal. For everybody watching … look, you’re struggling, you’re short, you’re down on the road. Yeah, everyone should be fired up,” Jefferson said.
Hart failed to score a point and missed all seven of his field goal attempts against Golden State. But the Knicks guard recorded seven rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes.
