The Los Angeles Lakers came back to the winning avenue as they got the better of the Boston Celtics in their recent outing. Handing a dominant 117-96 defeat, the Lakers looked quite on song as they reignited their playoff hopes at the Crypto.com arena. With their win-loss record reading 24-18, once again, the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis steered the purple and gold to victory.
However, despite the Celtics dropping some crucial points in the last few games, there was one particularly exciting moment for the defending champions. During a play in the game, Celtics’ Kristaps Porzingis nailed a poster dunk over none other than LeBron James. And while Porzingis was celebrating, James was caught giving the 29-year-old a stern stare.

And James seems to have transformed his rage in his performance as well. Dropping 20 crucial points, James posted a double-double with 14 rebounds and six assists. Giving him appropriate company was Anthony Davis, who chimed in with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Meanwhile, following the mixed-bag season of the Lakers, LeBron James recently expressed his disappointment.
LeBron James Asked His Team To Play ‘Perfect Basketball’
LeBron James was visibly frustrated after the Lakers failed to keep the winning momentum going. Despite winning several games, the Purple and Gold brigade has repeatedly slumped to defeat. After their recent loss against the Los Angeles Clippers, James had a candid assessment of his team’s future possibilities.
“We don’t have a choice. That’s the way our team is constructed… We have to play close to perfect basketball,” said James.
