Stephen Curry, the standout point guard for the Golden State Warriors, is widely regarded as one of the premier players in the NBA today, known for his exceptional shooting skills and playmaking abilities. Despite his remarkable talent and contributions to the game, Curry often finds himself facing inconsistent treatment from referees during games.
The Warriors recently played the New Orleans Pelicans in an intense game at the Smoothie King Center. After missing several games due to injury, Curry returned to the court for this matchup. However, during the fourth quarter, the referees overturned one of Curry’s three-pointers due to a foul call.
This unexpected decision left Curry visibly incredulous, and his mounting frustration was captured in a video that subsequently circulated on social media platforms.

In the third quarter of the Warriors’ 117-114 triumph against the Toronto Raptors, Stephen Curry exited the locker room following discomfort in his tailbone, a consequence of a significant fall. Subsequent assessments confirmed that he had sustained a pelvic contusion. Upon his return to the court after several games on the sidelines, Curry provided insights about his ordeal during a post-game interview.
“It reminded of me of [2021] when I fell onto the stairs in Houston. Thankfully, I didn’t break anything or have a bone damage, it was mostly just a deep serious contusion. I’ll feel it for a while, but I can play and can’t make it worse,” Curry said (via Anthony Slater).
Steph Curry said his recent injury reminded him of that hard fall on his tailbone in Houston back in 2021. But this one isn’t as bad. Deep contusion as opposed to hairline fracture in 2021.
