Jayson Tatum has emerged as one of the biggest names for the Boston Celtics. Impressing on the court, Tatum helped his team dream about a potential NBA championship run. Unfortunately, coming into the playoffs, Tatum suffered an athlete’s worst possible nightmare. He injured his ACL and got ruled out of the league. And while this was a heartbreaking moment, Tatum seems to be moving on from it while being in the lap of nature.
In a recent video uploaded by the Celtics’ star, Tatum was spotted chilling. Wearing a red tank top, Tatum showed the scenic beauty of the beach he was at. He also panned the camera around to reveal the sea behind him. Surely, such a retreat was much needed for Tatum. After all, his ACL will take some time to recover fully.

In all likelihood, Tatum will be missing almost the entirety of the coming season. And that, as a frontline star, is quite painful for an athlete. However, in what could be a miraculous moment, Tatum might make a really fast recovery and come back in 2025-26. While this possibility sounds highly unlikely, Chris Mannix from Sports Illustrated believes otherwise.

Usually, any athlete suffering from an ACL injury takes 8 to 12 months to recover. However, Chris Mannix recently stated that Tatum might just come back in the upcoming season. In a recent interaction with Kevin O’Connor, Mannix stated that maybe Tatum might be in for a ‘herculean’ recovery.
“I mean, not zero because he’s a young guy, and maybe … there’s some kind of herculean recovery. But if you get past the All-Star break, and you’re kind of in that playoff/play-in race, the last thing you want to do is stick a guy back in that’s gonna need some training wheels for a while,” said Mannix.
