Brooks made a grand entrance in a sleek black suit, dark sunglasses, and a pink Labubu plush toy sticking out of his pants pocket. The plush toy, popularized by K-pop influencers, immediately sparked reactions across the NBA world.
However, not everyone was impressed with Brooks’ daring look. Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley wasted no time sharing his unfiltered thoughts. During the pregame show, Barkley pointed out Brooks’ fashion statement and let loose with his signature brutal honesty.

Unfortunately for Brooks, the night didn’t get much better on the court. Despite logging 36 minutes, the Rockets fell short against the Warriors in a narrow 106-109 loss. Brooks contributed 11 points and six rebounds and went 4-for-7 from the field, including hitting one of his two three-point attempts.
