The Golden State Warriors grabbed a 104-93 victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 3 and gave them a 2-1 advantage in the first-round playoff series. However, the action on the court wasn’t limited to basketball alone, as tensions flared once again between Warriors star Draymond Green and Rockets guard Jalen Green. Their ongoing feud has become a recurring “red flag” situation every time they share the floor, and Game 3 was no different.
Following the end of the game, emotions boiled over once more. As players made their way to center court, Jalen Green confronted Draymond. Jalen initiated the confrontation, but Draymond quickly seized the opportunity to fire back. Draymond mocked the younger Green, taunting him with the jab, “Go paint your nails.”

It was a clear dig referencing Jalen’s past when he had indeed painted his nails. The verbal clash grew so intense that teammates from both sides had to step in to separate them.
The altercations between the two Greens didn’t just start in Game 3. Their tension had already surfaced in Game 2, where Jalen Green delivered an elbow to Draymond Green’s face. Initially, the play was ruled a personal foul on Jalen. But after an official review, it was upgraded to a flagrant foul.

“It was just talking. He can’t really do much of anything else, so talking is his only way,” Jalen said.
Statistically, Draymond Green finished the night with seven points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and four personal fouls. Meanwhile, Jalen Green closed the game with nine points, six rebounds, and five assists in a losing effort for Houston. All eyes will be on Game 4 at the Chase Center on Monday to see if the two Greens clash again.
