The Golden State Warriors might have gotten a 2-1 lead over the Houston Rockets. But the heat is not coming down anytime soon. After an utterly physical Game 2, the next game was no different. In total, there were 38 fouls committed by both teams. And on one such instance, Warriors’ Draymond Green lost his cool. Trying to obtain a foul, Green ran toward the referee, putting him in even more trouble.
The incident took place right at the beginning of the third quarter. Draymond Green was trying to get a bucket while running towards the paint. However, Rockets’ Alperen Sengun was coming his way. While Green failed in his attempt, the way he was stopped seemed illegal to the Warriors star.

But the officials did not call a foul, which got Green furious. Unable to control his frustrations, the four-time NBA champion argued with the referee, pleading to grant him a foul. Green got so engrossed that he ran along with the official to the half-court, screaming for a foul. This resulted in Green getting called for a tech, further elevating his anger. Meanwhile, this was not the only time the Warriors were unhappy with the officiating. Kerr had some strong words to convey.
Steve Kerr Indirectly Complaints About NBA Officiating After Draymond Green Outrage

Kerr had already voiced his frustrations about the ‘out of line’ behavior of the Rockets’ fans in Game 2. Now, coming to the third game, Kerr seemed to be quite unhappy about the officiating as well. With a lot of fouls being committed, one particular caught everyone’s eye. This was when Stephen Curry was tackled roughly by Dillon Brooks while attempting a three-pointer.
“Teams basically just say to their guys, ‘Just foul every time, they can’t call it every time.’ The playoffs become to me much more an art for the officials than a science,” said a frustrated Kerr.
