The Oklahoma City Thunder turned the tables on the Denver Nuggets Sunday night, claiming a 92-87 victory in Game 4. Denver appeared ready to push the top-seeded team to the brink of elimination. But later failed to maintain the energy that had briefly put Jamal Murray in the spotlight for an early celebration.
During the third quarter, the Nuggets looked set to extend their lead and seize control of the series. At one point, Denver went up by six points after Jamal Murray knocked down a confident three-pointer.
After the shot, Murray was riding high on that moment. He pulled out his signature shimmy celebration as the home crowd at Ball Arena erupted. At the time, it seemed like the Nuggets were on track to break the game open and cruise to a 3-1 series lead.

However, the energy shifted dramatically in the second half. The Thunder turned up the defensive pressure and out-executed Denver down the stretch. While Murray had his moments, he ultimately finished with a modest 17 points, along with four rebounds and five assists, shooting just 5-of-15 from the field in 41 minutes.
Nikola Jokic led the team with 27 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists. Nevertheless, the Nuggets couldn’t regain their early-game rhythm, and OKC took full advantage to even the series.

Despite a tough Game 4 defeat against the Thunder, Jamal Murray showed no signs of panic during his postgame press conference. After the loss, Murray addressed reporters with a calm and confident tone, downplaying the pressure after the Thunder evened the series at 2-2.
“It’s best out of three. It’s not a funeral, guys, It’s best out of three. We lost the game. Onto the next,” Murray said.
Now, with the series reset, Murray and the Nuggets look ahead to Game 5. The next game is scheduled for Tuesday.
