The Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off an exciting victory against the Brooklyn Nets, winning 109-104 thanks to an incredible performance by All-Star Darius Garland. He lit up the fourth quarter, scoring 18 of his 30 points when his team needed them most.
This win preserved the team’s impressive momentum while matching their franchise record with a 15-game winning streak. The Cavaliers rallied back from a daunting 18-point deficit in the third quarter.
Jarrett Allen joined Garland in the effort, who chipped in a solid 23 points along with 13 rebounds, while Evan Mobley continued to shine with 21 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
However, their hilarious celebration after the win caught the attention of the Cavs fans. Garland started running in circles as he saw Allen stomping towards him. The arena was also heard cheering for the two Cleveland stars as they orchestrated their celebration, which ended in a chest bump.
That 15-game win streak (again) feeling 😁😁

The Cavs still showed off their depth despite missing key players like Donovan Mitchell due to groin soreness and De’Andre Hunter’s illness.

Despite a challenging game leading up to the fourth quarter, Darius Garland rose to the occasion when the stakes were highest. He dropped 18 points in the fourth quarter of the game to lead the Cavs to their back-to-back win.
However, his performance earned him high praise from Cleveland head coach Kenny Atkinson. Following his team’s thrilling victory over the Nets, he boldly declared Garland this season’s ‘clutch player of the year.’
“Clutch player of the year. I mean, he just does it in the fourth quarter. He’s done it all year. I’ll give us some credit for starting him in the fourth normally, that’s not his rotation…18-point fourth quarter. I liked that he kept pushing the pace. He wasn’t slowing it down, wasn’t looking for mismatches. He was using his speed and skill,” Atkinson said.
"Clutch Player of the Year."

Struggling through the first three quarters with only 12 points, the talented guard faced criticism and pressure after a recent slump that followed a hard fall against the NY Knicks. Yet, instead of retreating, he leaned into the moment and stepped up when the team needed him most.
