Coming into the fourth quarter of the game, Tatum had an awkward fall where he landed on his wrist. Such scenes immediately sent shockwaves down the spines of the Celtics fans. Afterall, the last thing they would want is to get Jayson Tatum injured. However, amidst all the fuss, Joe Mazzulla had a reaction that went viral.
After Tatum went down, the Celtics’ star was taking some significant time to get back to his feet. And this apparently did not sit well with Joe Mazzulla. During the game, a closeup realtime shot of Mazzulla was shown where he was giving out an interesting reaction.

The clip was shared on the internet by Dan Greenberg from Barstool Sports. In the shot, Mazzulla could be seen yelling at Tatum to get up and go on with the game. He even stopped a Celtics trainer from going down to check on Tatum. Surely, this was some raw emotion coming out of Mazzulla. And according to Greenberg, this was why perhaps Mazzulla was the perfect one to coach the Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, as Tatum’s nasty fall attracted significant eyeballs, speculations about his availability have been doing the rounds.
Will Jayson Tatum Be Available For The Next Game?
After taking a hard fall, Jayson Tatum got up and continued with the game. Yet, rumors and speculations as to whether Tatum would be available for the next game have been doing the rounds. Soon after the game, Tatum was sent for an X-ray to get a heads-up on the situation. Thankfully, he had some good news to share.
According to Tatum, his hand was okay as the X-rays came back clean. Tatum stated, “It’s alright. I just fell on it landed on it.”
