
The BIG3 games kicked off with drama-loaded scenes, and the Miami fans surely got bang for the buck. And apart from basketball action, Lance Stephenson and Jordan Crawford kept the fans on the edge of their seats.
What started as a clash of the big stars ended like two groups of brawlers going up against each other.
During the 2025 season opener, which saw Miami edge out Los Angeles 50-44, Crawford got into an altercation with Lance Stephenson. In the heated action, Crawford went on to stick his finger in Stephenson’s nose.

However, the latter responded with a hefty punch to the former’s face, but they were untangled soon. The scenes were scary, and it looked like things would go to a whole different level, which they later did but were controlled initially.
Lance Stephenson Had A Hard Time Starting Off His BIG3 Career

After messing it around with Crawford, former NBA stars Dwight Howard and Stephenson went on to throw hands at each other.
The two were ejected after a physical altercation that surprised everyone.
The drama unfolded when Stephenson seemed to elbow Howard in the chest. It did not take long for things to escalate into a scuffle that made its way behind the basket and into the stands.

Stephenson responded with a fist. Howard pushed him back, and before you knew it, they were shoving each other around. They were ultimately separated and shown the door, leaving fans buzzing about the unexpected turn of events.
Tensions were already running high before their ejections. Both Howard and Stephenson are no strangers to the NBA. They have had separate stints with the Charlotte Hornets back in the day.
Their BIG3 debuts this season are a fresh chapter in their careers, and together, they bring a wealth of experience with a combined 31 seasons in the league.
