With some great performances from Kevin Durant and more, the Suns are trying desperately to claw their way back to the playoff scenario. However, it was not Durant’s on-court basketball play that made the news. But his heated feud with Giannis Antetokounmpo surely had the fans riled up.
Now, with the game looking like a close affair, tensions were already shooting through the roof. At one point in the game, both Antetokounmpo and Durant got themselves into a tangle. As the duo engaged in a shoving contest, Durant pushed away Antetokounmpo on the face.

While this was surely a heated moment, the win kept the Suns in the hunt. With 35 wins and 37 losses, Kevin Durant and co. are trying desperately to make something out of their dismal session. Unfortunately, this might be the last time the Suns’ fans will be watching Durant in Phoenix’s jersey.
Kevin Durant To Quit Phoenix Suns?
Durant was speculated to join the Golden State Warriors mid-season. However, Durant did not want to shrug off his responsibilities and leave. Thus, the deal came to an abrupt halt. But as the NBA regular season is getting closer, the possibility of Durant continuing with the Phoenix Suns is getting gloomier. As per the recent reports, Durant is likely to leave the Suns in the coming season.
Speaking on the matter, ESPN’s Shams Charania stated, “Unless there is a significant run here into the playoffs for the Phoenix Suns, league sources believe that there will be real changes coming to the Suns. From a roster standpoint, that likely starts with Kevin Durant. This offseason, from my understanding, what it would look like is that the Suns and Durant will work together on any potential trade to a contender.”
