LeBron James was caught sniffing something during a recent game, and the online trolls are already claiming it’s PEDs.
A viral video is recently making rounds on the internet claiming LeBron sniffed some performance improvement drugs before a recent game.
While they don’t have much to back their claims, there’s no stopping the video from going viral.
However, those who have ever seen a weightlifting competition or dudes hitting their PRs in the gym know that they will often sniff something of the same state.

The powder that LeBron sniffed was very likely smelling salts.
The smelling salt releases ammonia gas that irritates the nasal and lungs membrane to trigger an inhalation reflex. And it is generally use to arouse consciousness in the athletes.

And no, smelling salt is not a PED. Let’s be clear on that.

LeBron James Was Earlier Accused Of Doing PEDs

While the recent claim was nothing new, LeBron James has seen his name linked to PEDs on occasion.
During last month, similar allegations against James surfaced on the internet that he takes enhancement drugs.
Earlier, it was something talked under covered sheets but Patrick Bet-David elaborated the issue on his podcast. He cited that James might be using growth hormones to stay at peak performance at 40-years old.
While reading an alleged report, Bet-David cited some Biogenesis scandal to back his claim.
“Is LeBron doing GH or young growth hormone? Is this the Lance Armstrong story that’s about to come out and they’re gonna strip them all these different accolades. LeBron James’ close associate Earnest Mims, business manager and David Alexander trainer have been named in an undirected federal document related to the Biogenesis scandal. However there is no accusation or evidence of LeBron James using performance enhancement drugs [PED],” Bet-David said on his podcast.
New evidence suggests that the NBA tried covering up the link between LeBron and the Biogenesis investigation with James' camp declining ESPN's request to interview him despite providing applicable information to back up their questioning. 🤔

In response to the said speculation, Ron Harper, a former NBA player, came to LeBron’s defense.
Harper urged critics to let him play without being burdened by unfounded allegations. He also highlighted that LeBron had already been cleared by the DEA during the Biogenesis investigation.
And there was no indication of wrongdoing on James’ part. The DEA’s findings confirmed that while James had connections to individuals involved in the scandal, there was no evidence linking him to any misconduct.
