The Milwaukee Bucks wrapped up their regular season with back-to-back games against the Detroit Pistons. While the results favored Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s off-court behavior stole the show during the finale.
In the first game, Giannis played a key role in leading his team to victory, reminding fans of his dominant presence on the court. But in Sunday’s regular-season finale, the Bucks superstar sat out, allowing the rest of the team to step up. They didn’t disappoint, putting on an offensive clinic in a 140-133 win over Detroit.
Still, even without logging a minute, Giannis managed to make headlines with his off-court humor with Damian Lillard and former teammate Malik Beasley. After the game, cameras captured him playfully shoving Beasley, and Lillard helped Giannis. Beasley couldn’t help but laugh at the friendly jab.

Their lighthearted moment quickly caught the attention, especially as it followed another instance of Giannis mocking Beasley with his signature shimmy celebration in their previous game.
Beasley spent last season with the Bucks and appeared in 79 games during his time in Milwaukee. Since then, his bond with Giannis has become a relationship filled with friendly trash talk and mutual respect.

Giannis Antetokounmpo once again proves that he’s the heart and soul of the Milwaukee Bucks and far from being “washed.” The two-time MVP is amid one of the best seasons of his career. His all-around brilliance has been the driving force behind the Bucks’ successful push into the postseason.
Yet, ESPN recently raised controversy about whether the Bucks’ superstar was “washed.” The Bucks’ official social media couldn’t hold back after seeing this and fired back with a stern message.
“Giannis is literally playing as well as he ever has,” they wrote on X.
Giannis’ numbers back up his team’s bold claim. Antetokounmpo is currently averaging 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game this season. He ranks second in the league in scoring, trailing only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
