“It was just talking. He can’t really do much of anything else, so talking is his only way.” That’s what Jalen Green has for Draymond Green after their on-court altercation over the former’s nail paint.
The Warriors pulled out an impressive win against the Rockets in Game 3, wrapping up the game with a score of 105-94, even without Jimmy Butler. However, things got a little too heated after the final buzzer.
A mid-court confrontation took place between Draymond Green from the Warriors and Jalen Green from the Rockets.
As the two exchanged words, Draymond made a playful nail-painting gesture aimed at Jalen, poking fun at his well-known love for stylish nails.

As teammates, coaches, and officials rushed to keep them apart, Jalen nodded back at Draymond, unfazed by the mockery. He even tried making a somewhat gun gesture towards the more experienced Green.
However, cameras also caught the Rockets star’s painted nails.

This wasn’t the first time tensions had flared in this series. Just a few days earlier, in Game 2, Draymond confronted Rockets player Fred VanVleet.
It escalated when a towel hit Warriors reserve Pat Spencer in the face.
Jalen Green Has To Do More On The Court

The Warriors-Rockets playoff series has become increasingly intense. And the latest physical altercation between Draymond Green and Jalen Green has only added to it.
The exact cause of the dispute between the two Greens remains unclear, but speculation suggests Draymond was teasing Jalen about his personal style.
However, Draymond has been a pivotal defender for the Warriors, which makes Jalen’s comments even bolder since the Warriors currently lead the series 2-1.

While Jalen appears to have sparked a rivalry with Draymond, the Rockets are facing broader challenges. Despite their attempts to match the Warriors’ intensity through physical play and trash talk, they struggle offensively.
To remain competitive in the series, the Rockets will need better contributions from their key players, including their own Jalen Green.
And while he notched only nine points in Game 3, pressure is on the Rockets to elevate their performance.
