Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets might not have been able to lift the NBA title this season. But the manner in which Jokic impressed will surely make the Nuggets’ fans feel a lot more at ease. However, with the offseason coming in, Jokic has flown back to his homeland, Serbia. And surprisingly, he seems to have ditched the hoops for a hand in the Sepak Takraw.
For the uninitiated, Sepak Takraw is a game of kick volleyball, where the ball needs to be played on either side of the net using only one’s feet. In a recently surfaced video on the internet, Jokic could be seen having fun with the game. Combining elements from soccer and tennis, Jokic looked quite smooth while attempting to play the game. Soon, spotting the same, the online fans marveled at how he looked comfortable with the sport despite being a professional NBA athlete.

Meanwhile, in reality, Jokic would not have preferred to begin his offseason this early. In what was a gruelling seven-game encounter, the Oklahoma City Thunder got the better of Jokic and his team. However, with the heartbreak making a deep impact, Jokic looked quite in a dilemma for the Euro Basket.

“I think the Olympics made me even better. Playing for your country with different rules and different players, it made me better. I need to decide. There is a EuroBasket,” Jokic said.
