The Pacers closed out the New York Knicks 125-108 in Game 6. Siakam averaged 24.8 points on 52.4% shooting in the six-game series and delivered in the clutch moments. His 31-point performance in game six sealed the win and the MVP trophy, edging out Tyrese Haliburton in a close 5-4 media vote.
Siakam capped off the night with a humble tribute by saying, “I can’t wait to see Larry, I missed him.” When asked about his feelings for taking the team to the finals, he said, “We got a mix of young guys, some vets… we’re just a team. We play together, everyone just pulling for each other. It’s gonna be a special feeling.”
