It would have gone a really scary route had Russell Westbrook landed his elbow on the young fan’s face.
During a recent game against the Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets star Russell Westbrook had a close-call moment on the court. Known for playing with passion and emotion, Westbrook found himself diving into the crowd to save a ball from going out of bounds.
When Myles Turner of the Pacers passed the ball to his teammate Aaron Nesmith, Westbrook made a weighted attempt to snatch the ball. However, he lost his balance and ended up rolling over a young fan in the stands.

Luckily, both Westbrook and the young boy came out of it just fine, both grinning ear to ear afterward.
The game itself was important for the Nuggets, who were looking to shake off a tough streak with three losses in a row. With a record of 47-31, they were trying to climb back up the Western Conference standings.

The Nuggets face a challenging situation as they fight for playoff seeding in the Western Conference. With only a few games left in the regular season, they need to improve their play.
Head coach Michael Malone’s recent update on Jamal Murray’s injury further complicated their efforts, leading to a disappointing performance.
During the Pacers game, despite Nikola Jokic’s impressive 41-point triple-double, the Nuggets fell short by 125-120. Russell Westbrook, who did not start in Murray’s absence but managed to score 16 points, expressed his frustration after the game.
He was rather candid about the team’s struggle to show urgency as they approached the playoffs.
“I don’t know, man, you know, not sure,” he said when asked about their sense of urgency.

Westbrook’s disappointment is understandable, especially considering the team’s current four-game losing streak, which marks the longest of the season.
