The Oklahoma City Thunder is back. Suffering a brutal 42-point defeat in the previous game, the likes of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Co. needed to clinch a win. With the game turning out to be a banger, things went to the very last second. Luckily for the Thunder, they managed to hold onto a slim lead and take the game 128-126. However, things might not have been the same if OKC had not gotten the help from a fan!
With just moments to go before the final whistle, Wolves got a free ball coming towards the edge of the court. However, with a Wolves’ athlete chasing the ball, it was caught mid-air by a fan. Now, such an action did spark a controversy.
The Wolves were surely not happy with what went down and complained to the officials about the same. At the moment, the camera caught Shai Gilgeous-Alexander praising the fan and calling his actions “smart.”

Meanwhile, Gilgeous-Alexander was once again the savior for the Thunder. Dropping a total of 40 points, SGA also chimed in with 10 assists and nine rebounds. Playing second fiddle to him was Jalen Williams with 34 points. Meanwhile, this season has been quite a successful one for Gilgeous-Alexander. Winning the MVP, he did not forget to celebrate with his teammates.

And the cumulative amount of all these came down to $10,000 per gift box. Surely, Gilgeous-Alexander knows how to spend money. And why not? After all, Gilgeous-Alexander has secured a $76 million annual contract for next season. Thus, with the situation looking quite rosy, it remains to be seen whether Gilgeous-Alexander can take his team to NBA glory this season.
