Now then, despite a grim season for the Suns, Devin Booker looks to have been in a jovial mood, at least with his fans. As Booker stares into a pretty complex offseason, his recent interactions with a couple of young fans have taken the internet by surprise.
The incident reportedly took place on Thursday. Driving in his car, Booker spotted a drink stand put up by two kids in Arizona. The clip showed the NBA icon pulling over and buying a couple of drinks. However, just when Booker was about to drive away, one of the kids seemed to recognize the NBA star.
Thus, to confirm his curiosity, the kid asked the Suns’ star, “Are you Devin Booker?”
Booker replied with a resounding yes and also had one of the most heartwarming replies. “You guys keep doing what you’re doing,” Booker said.

As Booker drove away, giving a fist bump to the kids, they were pretty much elated. With the camera panning to the kids, they could be seen jumping up and down, having met their favorite superstar. Meanwhile, with speculations going wild about Booker probably parting ways with the Suns, the superstar had a special message.

Booker has been one of the most prominent stars on the Suns roster. Unfortunately, despite giving his best, Booker failed to get the Suns to the next round. Such a disheartening season made the fans speculate that Booker might want to revisit his decision to stay at Phoenix. But Booker is determined. He recently clarified that whatever happens, he will not change jerseys. And Booker had a solid reason, too.
“It’s not always greener on the other side. People always want to leave their situation and end up in a worse situation, and then they go missing. You’ll never have the love like you have from the team that drafted you,” said Booker.
