The Oklahoma City Thunder clawed their way back into the Western Conference Finals series with a narrow 128-126 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night at Target Center. It was a pivotal Game 4 for the Thunder. Their young core, Jalen Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Chet Holmgren, rose to the occasion with standout performances.
While the entire team celebrated the victory with energy and focus, Williams took things to another level. During the postgame press conference, both Holmgren and Williams addressed the media. Once their session ended, Holmgren got up and left.
However, Williams remained seated. He was completely locked in, not on the game or media, but on his phone. Seemingly, he was unaware that the press conference had concluded.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams combined to deliver a 74-point performance on the stats sheet. This marks the first time two Thunder players have each scored 30 or more points in a playoff game since the days of Paul George and Russell Westbrook in 2018. Their offensive connection was key in pushing Oklahoma City to a 3-1 series lead and brought back memories of past Thunder postseason greatness.

In the fourth quarter alone, Williams delivered 14 of his total points. His clutch shooting and confidence under pressure made a significant difference in sealing the victory. With this game, Williams also became the first player in Thunder history to record a conference finals performance with over 30 points and at least five made threes.
