Cross streets and nearby roads will remain closed throughout the morning. Officials recommended arriving early and planning, especially for parking. City Manager Craig Freeman advised fans to bring water and snacks and to be ready to walk. “You may need to walk long distances to and from the parade route,” Freeman said.
Public safety teams, including police, fire, and emergency services from across the metro, will remain stationed along the route to manage crowds and ensure a safe celebration.

Before the parade begins, Oklahoma City Thunder players and staff will gather at Paycom Center for a private team ceremony at 9 am. The event will include speeches and trophy presentations, but will not be publicly open.
Fans can watch it live on Local TV or stream it via the Thunder’s mobile app and YouTube channels.
