When we hear ‘the best player in the NBA,’ either Michael Jordan or LeBron James pops up in our heads. But never Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Yeah! That’s pretty much true, with no hate for the Greek Freak.
However, we would be this year old today to learn that the Milwaukee Bucks superstar has the most number of different NBA trophies that even the above two lack.
Giannis has the Most Improved, Defensive Player of the Year, MVP, All-Star (Captain Winning Team), All-Star MVP, NBA Champion, Finals MVP, NBA Cup Champion and NBA Cup MVP awards.

That makes a total of nine of the most amount of different NBA trophies as he belittles LeBron and Jordan, tied at the second spot with eight trophies each.
Interestingly, while both James and MJ have achieved almost everything in their NBA career, they never got the Most Improved tag. Something that only differentiates them from Giannis.

However, in comparison to both the superstars, Antetokounmpo still has a world to win. And it would be interesting to see how long he could continue dominating the league at the same pace.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Is Unsure Of His Future At The Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo finds himself in a bit of a mix as he considers his future with the only NBA team he’s ever known. After facing a frustrating third consecutive first-round playoff exit this spring, there’s a lot on his mind.
The Bucks have struggled to make an impact in the postseason. However, now, Giannis must weigh the idea of staying loyal to Milwaukee against the temptation of chasing a championship elsewhere.
And the team’s struggle with injuries have only complicated their composition over the last few seasons. Antetokounmpo himself has had to battle through injuries in both the 2023 and 2024 playoffs, really hindering the Bucks’ chances.

Additionally, his star teammate, Damian Lillard, recently tore his Achilles tendon in the playoffs, putting him on the sidelines for the entire 2025-26 season.
With Lillard out of the picture, Milwaukee faces challenges in upgrading the roster and improving its chances of contention. As NBA insider Shams Charania pointed out, Giannis is trying to decide if he should cling to his roots in Milwaukee or look for a new opportunity to win a championship.
The coming few weeks would be crucial for the Bucks fans. They will see if their loyal will continue to remain so or opts for an otherwise direction.
