The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend introduced a fresh and exciting format with a four-team tournament taking center stage. In the grand finale, Shaquille O’Neal’s squad, Shaq’s OGs, dominated Chuck’s Global Stars with a commanding 41-25 victory at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry played a crucial role in securing the win for Shaq’s OGs. He finished with 8 points, six rebounds, and one assist. He shot 3-for-9 from the field and 2-for-8 from the free-throw line in the final.
While his shooting numbers weren’t his most efficient, his overall presence and leadership helped guide his team to victory. With a total of 20 points across the tournament, Curry was crowned All-Star Game MVP for the second time in his career.

The curtain closed on this year’s All-Star Weekend. For Curry, it was special for winning the MVP award in front of his home crowd at the Chase Center, which made the moment even more special.
Shaq’s OGs Prove Age Is Just A Number In All-Star Championship Win
Shaq’s OG roster featured some of the most accomplished veterans in the NBA. Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and LeBron James were all part of the squad, though LeBron did not participate in the game. Despite missing James, the team’s depth and experience proved too much for the competition.
Their journey to the championship included a 42-35 victory over Candace Parker’s Rising Stars in the semifinals. The blend of championship pedigree and veteran experience helped them outlast younger, energetic opponents.

The team comprised Dalton Knecht, Jayson Wells, Zach Edey, Stephon Castle, Amen Thompson, Trayce Jackson-Davis, and Keyonte George.
